Job Description:
Yurun Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Cost Manager to oversee and manage all cost-related aspects of our projects. This role demands a professional with a strong background in cost prediction, accounting, planning, and decision-making within a project environment. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring financial efficiency and control throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all project cost control activities, including cost prediction, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Conduct detailed cost analysis and risk assessments for new and ongoing projects.
- Develop and implement robust cost accounting systems and procedures.
- Monitor project expenditures against budgets, identify variances, and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare comprehensive cost reports, forecasts, and financial summaries for senior management.
- Collaborate with project teams to optimize resource allocation and cost efficiencies.
- Participate in contract negotiations and vendor selection, ensuring cost-effective solutions.
- Provide expert advice on cost-related decisions to support strategic project objectives.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5-10 years of progressive experience in project cost management, preferably within a large enterprise or diversified group.
- Proven expertise in cost prediction, cost accounting, cost planning, and cost decision-making.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and generate actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively collaborating with various stakeholders.
- Proficiency in relevant financial software and project management tools.
- High level of integrity and attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
