Senior Business Development Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic business development plans to identify new client opportunities within our specialized industries (AI, Chip, Electronics, Smart Hardware/Software, Manufacturing, Internet, Finance, Healthcare).
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships with key decision-makers and HR departments.
  • Conduct thorough market research to understand client needs, industry trends, and competitive landscapes, translating insights into actionable business strategies.
  • Proactively engage with potential clients through various channels, including cold calls, networking events, conferences, and targeted outreach, to generate leads and secure appointments.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and contracts tailored to client requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with the recruitment team to ensure a seamless client experience and successful talent placement.
  • Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets and KPIs.
  • Negotiate service agreements, terms, and conditions to maximize profitability while ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and market feedback to management.
  • Continuously enhance knowledge of relevant industries, technologies, and talent acquisition best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Marketing, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in business development, sales, or account management within the recruitment/headhunting industry, preferably serving technology or manufacturing sectors.
  • Demonstrated track record of successfully acquiring new clients and achieving revenue targets.
  • Strong understanding of the talent acquisition landscape, various recruitment models, and challenges faced by companies in high-tech and specialized industries.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust quickly.
  • Highly self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Excellent presentation skills, comfortable engaging with C-level executives.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A proactive and persistent approach to overcoming challenges and closing deals.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
